About Me

Not making it that easy, IL, United States
Here are some research interests of mine: Violins, vestial virgins, real estate, Japanese history, track down the family samurai sword if it still exists, look up historical letters and documents on the auction blocks that really should be in a museum, how common were sexual orgies in the past 2,000 years, Irish silver and connemara, Egytian pharaoh history, what a woman would have to do to get some action in Pompeii, Italy way before Mt Vesuvius erupted, do men have feelings or are they just emotional reactions, and how on earth can I build a good deck (Magic the Gathering) without having some kid handing me a can of whoop ass.

What is running through your mind?

I guess this is a question for guys. How often do women ask you what's running through your mind or "What are you thinking?" Usually this is a question saved for after sex. But why as women do we feel compelled to ask that annoying question? I really don't know of an answer that would really satisfy. Which I think is the reason why I'm straight because for a girl to ask me that everytime we make love? No thank you. So kudos to you guys who put up with all of our questioning and nagging. Even though some of the nagging is warranted. And on that note here is a picture to get your mouths watering gentlemen.

Hi, Just found your blog. I have to say I've often wondered about that myself. I've always thought that when my girlfriend asked that question, she was expressing her insecurity, or fear that I wasn't happy or satisfied. There is no simple, pat answer or explanation for it, I guess, but I never would answer with the generic "nothing". A little reassurance, a little levity and it would seem to help calm the worries. I never looked at it as 'nagging'. I understand that this emotional side is hand in hand with the physical side of sex.

Very well said. And on behalf of your girlfriend thank you for being a gentleman.
